Larry Victorson received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1967. From 1968 until 1972, Mr. Victorson was an Assistant District Attorney in El Paso, Texas, prosecuting serious felony cases. In 1972, he became an attorney for the United States Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He then entered the private practice of law in El Paso, Texas, specializing in criminal defense work. In 1975, he was among the first attorneys in Texas certified as a Specialist in Criminal Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He remained in private practice in El Paso until 1977 when he moved to Chicago. In 1977, Mr. Victorson began a 25 year career as a First Chair Felony Trial Assistant with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
He is now associated with Addis, Greenberg & Schultz, L.L.C. concentrating in criminal defense. During his career, Mr. Victorson has tried more than 155 felony jury trials and countless bench trials. He has also tried several civil jury trials.
